The colourful one is Noro brand 100% wool.
The white yarn is from a brand called Moose Meadow Farm that comes from Quesnel near my town. It’s 100% alpaca. :D

The Encyclopedia Of Knitting
So I bought this book the other day because I’ve been crocheting for years and just learned to knit a month ago.
I was wondering if anyone else has used this book before or had any pointers and tips for a beginner? OuO

I present to you the first scarf I have ever knitted! : D
I learned to knit a few weeks ago. My mother, sister, and I all took a class and it was really awesome because I’ve been crocheting for 12 years and knitting was an entirely new experience. At times a frustrating experience but all in all worth it.
So this scarf is made out of 100% wool and looked a little plain on it’s own so I sewed on a whale made of felt. The first thing I think of when I look at the colour scheme is whales so why not? : P
I’m totally going to make one of these beasts.
Gonna put it on and run around in woods and fields, in the night, bare foot, and to the sound of beating drums! *u*
