I Am Responsible For The Fall Of Film
First off I’d like to say I enjoy my job.
Some days are worse than others but for the most part it’s good.
Today was not one of those days.
I had a woman come in at 5 to 9:30 with 6 rolls of film she wanted developed and she was asking about prices.
Our film prices go by how many prints are made from the roll, 50 cents per print and if you want doubles there’s a $5 development fee.
I told her this and she goes Oooooooooh in a fast snarky voice and starts going off saying “well I came here thinking that it would be cheaper”
*siiiiiiiiiiigh*
“Well I guess I’ll go baaaaaack TOOOOOO LOOOOOONDON DRUUUUUUGS”
She was walking way and saying it louder as she got farther away so I would hear.
Her tone and they way she talked to me was just so disrespectful.
Well my dear, I’m so sorry that I can’t change the prices for you because you say you’ll go to another corporation.
I’m also sorry that I, one employee out of the millions Wal-Mart employs am responsible for the rise in the cost of film development.
While I’m at it I might as well apologize for being the cause of the digital revolution as well.
You know, because I this one girl am responsible for you not being able to deal with what comes with your choice of staying with using a film camera, if you can’t deal with your choices either be quiet or go buy a digital camera and leave your piss poor attitude at home.
Seriously, the tone of her voice and how she looked at me… go to your London Drugs, let the poor girls there deal with you.
Also, that website People Of Wal-Mart, everything you see on there is totally real, trust me. We get some real beasts in my poor little photo lab. -_-
